Stephanie Frost :: Alabama Theater Bridals

First of all, could there be a more perfect last name for a winter wedding?

In November I met up with Stephanie and her mom at The Alabama Theater to make these bridal photos and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place. Stephanie did her hair and makeup herself for the session (can I get a tutorial please?) and I really felt like I was shooting a Hollywood film star. I would die to pull off 1940s vintage glam so well. It just doesn’t seem fair. Except that I shouldn’t complain, shooting here was a dream and especially with a bride who fit in so well with the gorgeous Christmas decor and lights. Love love lovely. Enjoy and I’ll be back with some favorites from her January wedding soon.

Where the Wild Things Are

I obviously gave up on narrowing down these images. But I am so in love with them. Katie and Samantha were brilliant models and Stephanie (of Proper Measures) was a dream to work with. See below for credits. And head over to Second Elegance in Homewood to buy the dress Samantha’s wearing so that I won’t.

Behind the Scenes :: Where the Wild Things Are

I am beyond excited to share this video from a recent styled session with Stephanie Drake of Proper Measures (GORGEOUS event styling, go lust over it). Ashley from Hampton Road Studios shot the video and I am in love with it. Maybe because I spent an hour on my hair that morning, but mostly because the girls are absolutely lovely and I love hearing the giggles and the movements in between that still photographs can’t fully express. Expect a full post with as many photos as wordpress will allow soon.
