Hi-Fi Weddings :: Hi-fi Fest
A few weeks ago I ventured to Huntsville, Alabama, in a creepy van with fellow photographer (and friend!) Morgan Trinker, to represent Bham at the 1st Annual Hi-Fi Fest!
The ladies from White Rabbit Studios, Ashley and Stephanie, hosted the event at Lowe Mill [amazing venue that includes retail space for local creative businesses], complete with awesome photobooth and unique vendors from all around Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Above: White Rabbit Studios’ booth for the bridal fair complete with an awesome blue fireplace. They deserve Bridal Show of the year award because they made all of this awesomeness happen and brought together unique vendors for the greater wedding good. I can’t wait to head back to Huntsville to visit!
bow & arrow designs’: cupid and nautical themed buttons, headpieces, silk garters…
My booth complete with blue door courtesy of the very creative Morgan Trinker, amazing floral design by Mandy of Hothouse Design Studio (I heart her so much!), 16×24 canvas from WHCC, furniture from ikea, Leather Craftsmen and WHCC albums, moo cards, WHCC rep cards, postcards from alphagraphics, and a 5×5 trifold brochure from WHCC. Whew.
I’m in love with this centerpiece. Cotton, lace, pinecones, creamy winter whites, crimson roses and a bright blue box… I’m obsessed. And I can only take credit for giving it an extensive photoshoot to make eternal my love for it.

Gigi’s cupcakes (were delicious, the icing was delightfully light and the cake was moist. Huntsville, you are lucky), Hair by Noel (check out that updo!), delicious cake (I took the polka dotted cake home and the icing and dots were neopolitan and inside was strawberry cake with white chocolate, YUM!) (can you tell I love food?)

The ladies of Dance Trance demonstrating a Sips and Strips routine (available for Bachelorette Parties and days you need to break out your Saved by the Bell outfits, love it!)
Karma Rags holds a retail space in Lowe Mill and put on a vintage fashion show for us. Some of these girls are hoola hooping geniuses, and I am jealous.
I’m sure if you’ve been to a bridal show, this event feels a lot different, and in a completely amazing way! If you haven’t checked out Hi-Fi Weddings before you most certainly should, it’s a music-centric site for wedding planning with music inspired shoots and playlists. Ashley from White Rabbit Studios and her husband own a record store in Huntsville, Vertical House, and they are generally awesome people.
Thank you to all of the fun brides and grooms who came out, Lowe Mill for being an awesome place, Morgan for driving the creepy utility van with no side windows, and Ashley & Stephanie for being amazing!
